पाकिस्तानका पूर्वप्रधानमन्त्री इमरान खान भ्रष्टाचार मुद्दामा दोषी पाइएका छन् । राष्ट्रिय क्रिकेट टोलीको नेतृत्व समेत गरिसकेका खान र उनकी पत्नी बुशरा बिबी दोषी ठहर भएका हुन् ।
न्यायाधीश नासिर जावेद राणाले फैसला सुनाउँदै खानमाथि मुद्दा प्रमाणित भएको बताए । इमरानलाई १४ वर्ष र बुशरालाई ७ वर्ष कैद सजाय तोकिएको अन्तरराष्ट्रिय सञ्चारमाध्यमले जनाएका छन् ।
खान २०२३ को अगस्टदेखि नै राजधानी इस्लामावाद नजिकैको जेलमा छन् । उनीउपर झन्डै दुई सय मुद्दा विचाराधीन छ ।
खान दम्पत्तिले स्थापना गरेको अल–कादिर–ट्रस्ट नामक कल्याणकारी संस्थाका नामबाट भ्रष्टाचार भएको अदालतको ठहर छ । यस फैसलापछि बुशरा पक्राउ परेकी छिन् ।
